Electricity is included in the rent.
Wood
There is a supply of wood for the stoves.
Shopping
There is a good butcher and a Spar shop, both within walking distance. These shops are willing to deliver goods for your arrival at the cottage.
Grantown-on-Spey, six miles away, has a good range of small shops and a Co-op supermarket. Aviemore, twelve miles away, has a variety of shops and a Tesco supermarket (home delivery available).
Communications
As mobile phone reception is variable, there is a land-line phone. We ask visitors to please only use this for incoming calls. There is also a ‘superfast’ broadband connection with wireless router and Wi-Fi with which you are welcome to ‘connect’ with your own phones, Tablet, laptop, etc.
Local buses
It is possible to get a local bus from the Causer crossroads (two minutes walk from the cottage) to Aviemore and Cairngorm Mountain; also in the opposite direction to Grantown-on-Spey and Inverness.
Pets
We do not accept pets.
